Broken Bones Edition

Today we tied against the No. 1 ranked Play The Fockers. Of course, they had only two girls show up, but we decided not to forfeit, though I'm sure PTF player Nate wishes we'd have just forfeited, being that he broke his leg going to head-to-head, or rather, leg-to-leg, with Pat.
Both of them went for the ball full bore, and well... Nate's leg lost. But it was pretty exciting when the ambulance and fire truck rolled up. (Amber said, "We're on FIRE!")
Indeed we were. And we tied the game, which means we at least got a point in the league standings.

Brian S., for Seifert, scored our only goal, which was an incredible, open kick straight past the goalie from outside the penalty area. Then, sadly, he pulled his groin and was out for the rest of the game. Ouch. But he looks happy here anyway.

Just minutes after this photo was taken, half the people there heard Nate's tibia crack in two. As it turns out, he was looking for a hockey team and as Pat chatted with him while the ambulance was coming, they traded numbers and Nate intends to play hockey with Pat. Once his leg fuses back together, of course. And Jen got his address and plans to send a care package on behalf of the team. (I suggested sending him US Weekly's and Starbucks gift cards - because that's what I would want.)

The Three Amigos. Once again LeShaun and Cameron were our main men taking the ball down the field and setting up plays. And Jon made several grass-eating catches.

Fan cam! K-Hud's family rallied from the sidelines.
